Abstract

Research aims to find out the cost of production, income, acceptance, profit and
know the feasibility of organic rice farming in Jatisarono Nanggulan District
Kulon Progo Regency. The research site was chosen deliberately (purposive) and
the sampling of 55 respondents was conducted on a census. The data is
summarized with interviews and then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The
results showed explicit costs incurred amounting to Rp 2,218,085 and implicit
costs of Rp 1,408,317. The resulting receipt amounted to Rp 7,959,060, revenue
of Rp 5,742,975, and profit of Rp 4,334,657 per 2,076 m²/MT. Organic rice
farming in Jatisarono has an R/C value of 2.20, labor productivity of Rp 460,573
per HKO, land productivity of Rp. 2,436 per 1 m²/MT, and capital productivity of
197.27% per 2,076 m²/MT. Based on these results, organic rice farming in
Jatisarono Nanggulan District of Kulon Progo Regency is worth running.
