Abstract

Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi (PPAk) is advance education program that a first degree accounting graduate student has to take in order to be a public accountant. Student interest in the program is influenced by many factors which are; carrers motivation, quality motivation, economic motivation, motivate to have achievement and social motivation. Based on the facts. A research is made to determine what motivation do country university and private university accounting student have taking this second level accounting study program. The research reveals that quality and carrer motivation have significantly motivated students in taking program, where as economic doesn't give much influence on their study preference.
