Abstract
This research describes and explains how program and activities of rcgcncy govcrnment public relations of Bantul supportcd regency govemment of Bantul to recovered Micro, Small and Medium Industry (UMKM) like cratt industrics of Bantul. Researcher uses definition of public relations, marketing public relations, promotion, function of govemment public relations, media and public opinion, crisis management and image. Paradigm of the research is naturalism paradigm that from the phenomenology conception. lt mcans to interprctative subject of behavior people like their knowledge and experiencc. Method of this rescarch is descriptive mcthod that its purpose makes description and cxplain systematically and accurate about facts, characteristic and rclations of phenomena. Suhject of this rescarch are regency government public relations of Bantul and regency service cooperation, industry and trade of Bantul. Whereas, the objcet of this research snatch at all of program and activities regcncy govemment public relations of Bantul supported regency govemment to recovered Micro, Small and Medium Industry in the Flantul after earth quake on 27th May 2006. Techniques of data gathering arc intervicw with interview guide and documentation. Technique of data legalization uses source triangulation. lt means comparc data legalization •ith different time and instrument in the qualitative method. Technique of data analysis use method inductive analysis. Regency government public relations of Bantul usc two strategic. Intemal strategic has functions to increase work quality public relations of regency government of Bantul coordinate with committec of public relations and increase operational of public relations. Even though, extemal strategic according with mission of public rclations of regency govemment of Bantul recovered image and craft industry in the Radio (RRI Jogja: Bupati Menyapa, RPB: Otak-Atik Solusi, Halo Bupati), television is Taman Gabusan on TVRI Jogja, websitc is www.bantulgoid or www.bantulbiz.com, I3antul Expo 2007, press relcase, open house bupati Bantul, SMS Ccnter Bupati Bantul. Bantul 13angkit becomes motivation and raising the craft industry of Bantul. Now, craft industry of Bantul has recovered. divdte vvi
