Abstract

This research aims to explain how the role of United Nation’s International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in dealing with the problem of malaria that occurred in Papua in 2019 to 2020. The author describes descriptively by implementing the International Organization concept regarding the roles that International Organizations have in solving a problem. The author has found that UNICEF is carrying out its role as an initiator and facilitator in reducing malaria rates in Papua. The role played by UNICEF has succeeded in reducing the number of malaria cases in 2019- 2020.
