Abstract

This study examines the factors that influence student interest in mutual funds investing using Bibit Application. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether risk, ease of understanding, and profitability have an influence on student interest in mutual funds investing using Bibit Application. The purpose of this study was to determine whether risk, ease of understanding, and profitability have an influence on student interest in mutual funds investing using Bibit Application either partially or simultaneously. This research was conducted using quantitative methods, while the data sources used were primary data and secondary data related to literature review and journals related to the influence of risk, ease of understanding, and profitability on student interest in investing. The data will be analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Validity and reliability testing was carried out using 30 respondents who were students who invested in mutual funds using Bibit Application. The results showed that risk and ease of understanding did not have a positive and significant effect on student interest in mutual funds investing using Bibit Application, and the results of the study showed that profitability had a positive and significant influence on student interest in mutual funds investing using Bibit Application. Based on the results of the study, it showed that risk, ease of understanding, and profitability had an influence on student interest in mutual funds investing using Bibit Application by 38.9% and 61.1% influenced by other variables outside of risk, ease of understanding, and profitability
