Abstract

Background: Obligation to using medical mask since COVID-19 pandemic make majority people become awareness about their mouth odor than before, this case caused when using medical mask people can smell their mouth odor itself. Based on that the study about preventing oral health is important in pandemic COVID-19 condition. This study has purpose to describe motivation preventing oral health in COVID-19 pandemic in S1 dentistry student UMY. Methods: This study is Descriptive Observational.sample in this study is 94 active S1 dentistry student grade 3. The sample take with total sampling with Slovin formula. Result: Majority of the sample has “medium” motivation to preventing oral health in COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion:Based on the data, the conclusion is majority of the sample has increasing motivation to preventing oral health in COVID-19 pandemic.
