Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of sand farmers who apply and do not applyirrigation technology sprinkle and to determine the perception of sand farmers to the application ofirrigation technology sprinkle, as well as to analyze the relationship between farmer profiles and perceptions of sand farmers on the application ofirrigation technology sprinkle in farmer groups. Raharjo. This research was conducted in Patihan hamlet, Gadingsari Village, Sanden sub-district using descriptive method with the number of respondents 36 farmers with farmers who were used as respondents consisting of 7 who implemented and 29 who did not apply. The analysis used is descriptive analysis,scale Likert with average and score (%), and Spearmancorrelation analysis rank. The results of this study indicate that sand farmers from both groups have a good perception. In the relative profit indicator, there is a close relationship with age and farming experience for sand farmers who apply. And has a fairly close relationship with land status on farmers who do not apply. Then, in the suitability indicator there is a very close relationship with land status and a close relationship with income for farmers who do not apply. And there is a fairly close relationship, namely on the land status of farmers who do not apply. Furthermore, on the simplicity indicator there is a close relationship with age and income of farmers who apply. And there is a fairly close relationship, namely in age, education, occupations other than farming and farming experience for farmers who do not apply. Next, on the indicator of ease of trial, there is a close relationship with education and a fairly close relationship with work other than farming, income, farming experience, land status and land area of farmers who apply. And, on the indicator of the ease of seeing the results, there is a close relationship with age of farmers who apply. And there is a fairly close relationship with education and farming experience for farmers who do not apply.
