Abstract
This study aims to analyze and explain the direct effect of workload on job satisfaction, direct influence of work environment on job satisfaction, direct influence of workload on employee performance, direct influence of work environment on employee performance, and direct influence of job satisfaction on performance. employees, the direct effect of workload on employee performance with job satisfaction as the intervening variable, as well as the direct influence of the work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as the intervening variable. This research was conducted at PT. Busana Remaja Agracipta Yogyakarta with a total sample of 80 respondents sewing operator employees using the convenience sampling method. Data analysis using multiple linear regression method through SPSS 21 software. The results of this study indicate that workload has a significant negative effect on job satisfaction, work environment has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, workload has a significant negative effect on employee performance, work environment has a significant positive effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee performance, job satisfaction is proven to be an intervening variable on the relationship between workload and employee performance, and job satisfaction is proven to be an intervening variable on the relationship between work environment and employee performance.
