Abstract
Gender issues have become a new framework for peace issues. This is due to the positive impact of the involvement of women in the peace process, especially in improving peacemaking and peacebuilding, so the UN Security Council issued a resolution investigating women's participation in peace missions, namely Resolution 1325 on women, peace, and security. With the hope that all UN member countries can participate in involving women in world peace missions. As a member state of the United Nations, Indonesia indeed supports the resolution. So that Indonesia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Bappenas make policies that support the resolution. This can be seen in the procedures set out in the 2015-2019 RPJMN and is also supported in the 2020-2024 RPJMN. With this policy direction, Indonesia has become a country that sends the most female troops on various peace missions. This paper aims to determine the form of Indonesia's commitment and participation in implementing Resolution 1325. The writing method used in this study uses explanative qualitative research using library research, namely secondary data. This paper concludes that Indonesia continues to strive to increase the participation and role of women in peacekeeping missions. This is evidenced by various Indonesian domestic and foreign policies that refer to the participation of women in peace missions.
