Abstract

This research is aimed to know and describe:1) the planning of online learning at SMA (Senior High School) Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta;2) the implementation of online learning at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta;3) the evaluation of online learning at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data of the research were obtained using interview and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis was done using 1) data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The subjects of the research were the principal, the vice principal of curriculum affairs, the teachers of Islamic religious education, and 6 students. The findings reveal that 1) The planning stage of online learning at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta during the pandemic was carried out through several stages which includes the initial meeting done by the principal, the vice principal of curriculum affairs and other management teams. The results of the meeting were brought into a meeting held with the teachers whose results were disseminated to the parents and the students. In addition, the teachers also participated in the planning before teaching by making lesson plans, materials, media and other supporting media. (2) The implementation of online learning during Covid-19 at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta was handed over by the principal to each teacher where its implementation is conducted using WhatsApp group, Google classroom, Google meet, Zoom meeting, Google forms and learning management system (LMS) to send materials, be it a video or something else.3) The evaluation towards the teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta is carried out by the principal and the vice principal of curriculum affairs by conducting supervision and evaluation on the students in the form of assignments, daily tests, mid-term examination and final examination through WhatsApp and Google classroom applications.
