PERSEPSI REMAJA TERHADAP PERILAKU SEKSUAL BERISIKO

Background: Every adolescents’ libidowill increase and will always seek more information about sex which can lead to increased risky sexual behavior in adolescents. Sexual behavior is said to be risky if it has unwanted consequences such as abortion, pregnancy out of wedlock, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS. Purpose: This study aims to explore adolescents' perceptions of risky sexual behavior. Methods: This research uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews with 9 informants with an age range of 12-15 years in Kalirandu hamlet which was determined by purposive sampling. Test the validity of the data using member check, thick description, dependability, and peer debriefing. Data analysis using software open code 4.03. This research is ethically appropriate with the number NO.330/EC-KEPK FKIK UMY/XII/2021 and the ethically appropriate statement "ETHICAL APPROVAL" is declared ethically appropriate according to 7 (seven) WHO 2011 standards. Results: The results showed that adolescent's perception of risky sexual behavior including adolescents' perceptions of risky sexual behavior from the point of view of norms and religion, adolescents' perceptions of factors that influence risky sexual behavior, adolescents' perceptions of type of risky sexual behavior, adolescents' perceptions of the impact of risky sexual behavior and adolescents' perceptions of preventing risky sexual behavior. Conclusion: Risky sexual behavior is a problem that can cause various negative impacts for adolescents. Therefore, it is important for adolescents to increase their knowledge of valid sources of information so that adolescents can avoid risky sexual behavior
