Abstract

Communication is the key to success in family communication. Muslim
parents should not be harsh on their children when they do not have good
academic achievements. Ideally, parents exemplify the communication style of
Luqman Al-Hakim in the Quran.
This research is aimed at describing the da’wah communication style of
Luqman Al-Hakim in Quran surah Luqman verses 12-19 in As-Sa’di
interpretation. The method of this research carried out a qualitative approach. The
data analysis was done using descriptive analysis. The findings and discussion
show that the communication style of Luqman Al-Hakim to his son is in assertive
style. The communication style shows the intelligence of Luqman Al-Hakim in
his wise communication with his son.
