Abstract

Breakdown Voltage ispanpimportant factor that becomes a reference to determine the quality of transformer oil liquid insulation. Testing using the Megger OTS100AF Breakdown Voltage tester. The feasibility of good or bad quality of transformer oil insulation can be caused by several things, namely the increase in temperature of the oil and the age of the transformer oil. This can cause a decrease in the value of the breakdown voltage generated by the transformer oil. Transformer oil that is used continuously with high load conditions can cause an increase in the temperature of the transformer oil, so that it can affect the value of the breakdown voltage of the oil. The age of transformer oil can be seen from how long the oil is used in the transformer. To find out the transformer oil insulation indicator is still in good or bad condition, it is necessary to test the effect of increasing temperature and age of transformer oil on decreasing the breakdown voltage of transformer oil.
