Abstract

Background - Stroke is a condition in which rapidly developing clinical signs are found in the form of neurological deficits that can be aggravating and last for a long time for 24 hours or more and can lead to death. The provision of a 30° head position and a range of motion (ROM) functions to maximize cerebral tissue oxygenation and motor abilities, so that healing in stroke patients becomes faster. Research objective - Knowing the effectiveness of the effect of the combination of passive rom therapy and 30 ° head up position in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients. Methods - This writing method is a case study applied in nursing care from assessment to evaluation. Result – The results showed the influence of the implementation of passive Range of Motion (ROM) exercises and a 30° head up position in increasing patient muscle strength and increasing oxygenation needs in patients. Suggestion - nurses can apply a combination of passive range of motion (ROM) and 30° head position as a nursing selfintervention in stroke patients in providing faster healing.
