Abstract

In an effort to improve the welfare of farmers in Grobogan Regency, the Grobogan Regency Government plans to build an agribusiness terminal, this effort could be hampered by other perceptions by farmers. In an effort to find out how the farmers 'perceptions of the agribusiness terminal development plan, interviews were conducted with 15 farmers' management of GAPOKTAN_ who were used as research respondents, which were then analyzed descriptively based on the scoring results. In general, this research shows that the average farmer in Grobogan Regency has a positive perception of the agribusiness terminal development plan, which is obtained from responses to the STA development indicators, namely information on development plans, agricultural commodities to be served in the STA, STA management, STA management model, facilities in the STA, and farmers' expectations of STA development. Although there are also farmers who have negative perceptions, the percentage is very small. The average farmer welcomes the plan to build an agribusiness terminal and has high hopes. Farmers hope that with the development of an agribusiness terminal the problems they face in marketing agricultural products can be resolved properly. Therefore, the district government should seriously accommodate all the hopes of farmers and accelerate the development of agribusiness terminals.
