Abstract

Now there is some people reject the autopsy to be done because of some reasons beside that to know whether the level offormal education has correlation with autopsy rejection. The research is using analytic with prospective approach, and with variable is independent variable is education level of victim's family, dependent variable is autopsy rejection, disturbing variable is religion, myth, and culture. There are 8 cases of autopsy rejection, which is in SD there are 4 cases, in SLTP there are 3 cases, in SLTA there is I case, and in university there is no cases (0). In the correlation statistic education level SD has a significance 0.02, it mean education level SD has correlation with autopsy rejection (p < 0.05). in education level SLTP has a significance 0.078, it mean education level SLIP has no correlation with autopsy rejection (p > 0.05). in education level SLTA has a significance 0.33, it mean education level SLTA has no correlation with autopsy rejection (p >0.05). in university education level has a significance in 0.64, it means that university education level has no correlation with autopsy rejection (p > 0.05). in conclusion the percentage of autopsy rejection will decrease according to the level of education and there is a significance in education level SD in 0.02, it means that there is a correlation between SD education level SD with the autopsy rejection (p < 0.05).
