Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penyakit periodontal (96,58%) adalah masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut kedua terbesar di Indonesia. Penyebab utama perkembangan penyakit periodontal disebabkan bakteri Porphyromonas gingivalis. Obat kumur herbal bunga telang indigo (Clitoria ternatea L.) cair dengan kandungan fitokimia yaitu antosianin, alkaloid, dan saponin telah menjadi zat antibakteri alami.
