KERJASAMA BILATERAL INDONESIA-MALAYSIA DALAM UPAYA MENANGGULANGI PERMASALAHAN PENYELUNDUPAN OBAT- OBATAN TERLARANG DIWILAYAH PERBATASAN

Drug trafficking that occurs in the Indonesia-Malaysia border area is increasingly being carried out by transnational criminals and international syndicates. International syndicates, through cross-border networks and various modes, to try smuggle drugs trafficking from foreign countries through Malaysia which are then smuggled into Indonesia through the border. Drug trafficking at the Indonesia-Malaysia border generally occurs in West Kalimantan and Riau Province, both of which are directly adjacent to Malaysia. In an effort to overcome these problems, Indonesia cooperates with Malaysia to cooperate in eradicating drug smuggling that occurs in the Indonesia-Malaysia border region.
