Abstract

Islamic banks are banks that do not prioritize interest. Islamic banks move and are based on the al-qur’an and the hadith of the Prophet in accordance with Islamic law. Islamic banks are currently experiencing a very rapid increase, but there are still many people who have not used Islamic banks. This is due to the lack of information about the lack of promotion and socialization about Islamic banks. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence people's lack of interest in saving in Islamic banks (case study: community in Tabalong district, South Kalimantan). These factors are knowledge, promotion, facilities and location. This study uses primary data with data of 100 people selected by purposive sampling method. For data processing using multiple linear regression method. The analytical tool used in this research is the SPSS Veersi 21.0 for windows software. The research results obtained in this study are the variables of knowledge, promotion, facilities and location have a positive and significant effect on the lack of public interest in saving at Islamic banks in Tabalong district
