Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem experienced by children with a picture of growth failure from before and after birth because the body does not get enough nutrients. One of the stunting factors experienced by preschoolers is PHBS, a clean and healthy lifestyle. Clean and Healthy Living Behavior is an effort made to provide information by educating the public so that attitudes and behavior and knowledge can increase. Education related to hygiene and healthy living habits, including a PHBS demonstration in the material by carrying out five steps of washing hands with soap, has proven to be effective in preventing stunting. The purpose of this study was to analyze the increase in hygiene behavior in preschool children after being given the influence of the INCASTING PAUD program intervention through audiovisual media. This study used a quantitative method with a quasy experimental research design with a pretest and posttest design. Respondents amounted to 39 preschool children using purposive sampling technique divided into the intervention group and the control group. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test. PHBS hand washing behavior was measured using a 6-step handwashing questionnaire.
