PERSEPSI LANSIA LAKI-LAKI TERHADAP KEIKUTSERTAAN LANSIA DALAM KEGIATAN POSYANDU LANSIA DI DUSUN KALIRANDU

The increasing number of elderly population is accompanied by a high mortality rate, that make elderly population is need to be considered. The establishment of a integrated healthcare center program that focuses on promotive and preventive efforts has made it one of the facilities to overcome the problems of the elderly. The purpose of this study was to explore the perception of elderly men towards the IHC for the elderly. This research uses descriptive qualitative method using interview and observation instruments. The participants were 8 elderly men with purposive sampling method. Data analysis using framework analysis method. The results of this study found five main themes, namely the elderly's perception of the IHCactivities, the benefits of the IHC, the reasons for the elderly being inactive, the factors that support the activity of the elderly and the expectations of the elderly. Male elderly view the IHC as an important as activity, but the level of male elderly participation are still low. The low participation of the elderly is caused by busy work, internal motivation, and a decrease in physical condition.
