Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of the community participation and the quality of disbursement system towards public trust with the quality of handling Covid-19 as the intervening variable (an empirical study on village government in Muaro Jambi Regency). This sample was taken using cluster random sampling method which was conducted in Muaro Jambi Regency. This type of research data uses primary data. The theories used are stewardship theory, stakeholder theory, and compliance theory. This study contained 6 hypotheses which were processed by intervening tests in the SPSS version 22 application.The results showed that community participation had no effect on public trust, the quality of disbursement system had a positive effect on public trust, community participation had an effect on the quality of handling Covid-19, the quality of disbursement system had effect the quality of handling Covid-19, the quality of handling Covid-19 had effect public trust, there was an direct effect of community participation and the quality of disbursement system on public trust mediated by the quality of handling Covid-19.
