Abstract

Based on Riskesdas 2018, 31.4% of households in Indonesia utilize traditional health services. As the need for traditional medicine increases, the government forms a program called "Saintifikasi Jamu" which serves to elevate herbal medicine into a product that is scientifically proven to be used in health services. The Hortus Medicus Clinic is one of the research clinics that applies traditional medical services based on herbal medicine. Hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperuricemia and hypercholesterolemia are 4 diseases with the highest number of patients in 2017 at the Hortus Medicus clinic. This study aims to determine herbal prescribing patterns in hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperuricemia, and hypercholesterolemia in the Hortus Medicus Clinic.
