Abstract

Introduction: Schizophrenia is a neurobiological disorder in the part of the brain that is persistent and serious disorder with the emergence of psychotic symptoms in the form of delusions, hallucinations, mood mind disorders tha t can result in impaired personality functions, thoughts, memories, perceptions. It can cause damage to the main functions of life both individually, family and community. Symptoms that arise in patients with schizophrenia due to antipsychotic treatment du ring hospitalization or outpatient treatment experience sexual problems, one of which is sexual behavior problems. In which sexual behavior is all forms of behavior that occur because it is driven by sexual desire both opposite sex and same sex who starts from feelings of attraction to the behavior of making out, making out, dating until having sexual intercourse. Objective: To find out the depiction of sexual behavior of schizophrenia patient at Psychiatric Poly. Research Method: It was qualitative resea rch with phenomenology approach. Data collection was conducted by in depth interviews with several participants and observation using the interview guide. Researchers used tools such as voice recorders, field notes and stationery. Thus, the results of the interview could be stored properly. Result of The Research: The result of the research with Participant was obtained some themes from the categorization of participant expressions amounts to three themes. The theme is in the form of channeling desires, enc ouraging and suppressing sexual distribution, and decisions in distributing sexual needs. Conclusion: from the result of the research, participant revealed sexual problem due to spouses rejection of sexual needs, the absence of impingement on sexual distr ibution and non distribution of sexual needs. This information can be used as a reference for health workers in providing education about sexual behavior problems in schizophrenic patients.
