Abstract

Background : Malnutrition is one of the problem that usually happen in Indonesia. Malnutrition is suffered by children to adult but mostly suffered by children in developing country. Based on Dinas Badan Gizi Kementrian Kesehatan, the area that have the most number of disease in Yogyakarta is located at Kulonprogo. Family means consist in many things that can support a family to do some activity, including toilet, water source, electricity, house, farm etc. The purpose of this research is to know is there any correlation between malnutrition and ownership of family means. Method : the research design is analytic observational with cross sectional approach. It is cross sectional becauseresearcher just take the data at one opportunity without following up the development of nutrition status. The data alalyze in this research is fischer test, and the value is 0,866 or p > 0,05 means that there is no correlation between malnutrition and ownership of family means in Pendoworejo Village, Kulonprogo, Yogyakarta. Result : analysis of fischer test showed that there is no significant relation between malnutrition and ownership of family means, with value is 0,866 (p>0,05) Conclution : this result showed that there is no significant relation between malnutrition and ownership of family means.
