Abstract

Background: Hospitals need big maintenance to increase Health Care serves holistically, one of them is holistic serve on stroke patiens. Muhammadiyah Hospital had applied Holistic Health Care services, but up to now there have been no results research witch tested the benefits of Holistic Health Care of increasing the life quality to ischemic stroke patients. So it is needed scale measurement the stroke life quality of the patients to get cure. Purpose: Analyzing the quality of life of stroke patients during holistic treatment at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital. Method: Method which is used in this research is Non-Experimental with Evaluation design. It needs 36 respondents to get sampels in purposive sampling. The data collecting applied the questionnaire of life quality of (HRQOLISP-40) for one month. The statistical test which is applied is paired sample T-test, the results of data analysis in this study are univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. Result: The result of this research shows that there is a significant increase in stroke patients life quality. The score in pretest shows 139.75 and the score in posttest shows 144.75. the statistic result is P=0.04. Conclusion: The research finding shows that there is a difference between stroke patients life quality after and before being given serves of Holistic Health Care in Muhammadiyah PKU Hospital Gamping. So it is hoped that the hospital provides holistic services to patients.
