Abstract

Scabies is a skin disease caused by Tungou Sarcoptes Scabies var hominis. Behavioral factors become the dominant effect on the incidence of scabies in Boarding School. The action of clean and healthy living is needed by the community of Pesantren mainly students from the start of bathing behavior, dressing behavior, behavior of washing, sleep behavior, environmental management to health care. In addition, scabies events occur due to populated residential, and low health education. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the Personal behavior guidelines Model of Hegiene and environmental management on the Personal behavior of Hegiene and Genesis Scabies in Santri. The design of this research is quasy of Quasy-Experiment (research Experimen Semu) with pre-test and post test with control design that aims to know the effect of personal hygiene behavior model and environmental management of personal hygiene behaviour as well as scabies events in boarding school. Sampling with purposive sampling technique consisted of 28 respondents. Interventions were given for 21 days. The results of the study there are improvements in personal hygienic behavior with Paired Samples T-Test obtained P value <0.05 and decreased incidence of scabies with Mann-Whitney Test Difference Tests showed P value <0.05 in the intervention group After given the personal hygienic and management behavioral models environment
