Abstract

Measuring equipment is a instrument used to measure objects or something that can be known its value. Thermometer is one type of measuring equipment that is usually used to measure temperature, or temperature changes. Its use almost all measuring devices have varying measurement errors, so calibration equipment is required to make sure the value of measuring instrument are verified. The temperature calibration equipment works is to insert the thermocouple sensor into the chamber. Then the K-type thermocouple sensor will detect the temperature processed in the ATMega16 Microcontroller IC, and the temperature result will show on the 2x16 character LCD. Based on testing of the calibrator equipment on the thermometer mercury, the result error is 4.19˚C with uncertainty is 0.18˚C. Before using the calibrator equipment is calibrated to LPPT-UGM and be able reading from temperature 10˚C to 100˚C.
