Abstract

Condong Catur Hospital Yogyakarta is a health service facility that requires adequate parking space for patients. The aim of this study is to determine vehicle parking characteristics which include parking accumulation, parking volume, turnover rate, parking index and to evaluate parking space requirements. The study was conducted on June 18 and 20 2016. The survey for primary data collection starts at 06:00 WIB until 20:00 WIB. The survey results show maximum parking accumulation for motorcycles on Saturday is 160 vehicles/15 minutes and for cars 20 vehicles /15 minutes, while the maximum parking accumulation for motorcycles on Monday is 188 vehicles /15 minutes and for cars 16 vehicles /15 minutes. The maximum parking volume for motorcycles in the parking area on Saturday is 401 vehicles and for cars 70 vehicles, while Monday for motorcycles is 711 and for cars 77 vehicles. The maximum parking turnover rate for motorcycles in the parking area on Saturday is 2.5 vehicles/day/space, the maximum parking turnover rate for cars is 3.69 vehicles/day/space, while Monday for motorcycles is 4.45 vehicles/day/space and for cars 4.05 vehicles/day/space. The maximum motorcycle parking index on Saturday is 100%, and for cars 105,26%, while the maximum parking index for motorcycles on Monday is 117,5% and for cars 84,21%. The parking space requirement of motorcycles on Saturday is 160 vehicles with a capacity of 160 vehicles, and for 20 vehicles with a capacity of 19 vehicles, while motor vehicles on Monday were 180 vehicles with a capacity of 160 vehicles, and for cars 16 vehicles with a capacity of 16 vehicles.
