Abstract

In the modern era today dawah is not only done by direct face-to-face between dai with madu. But dawah can be done anytime and anywhere by utilizing the media technology. Drama serial or sinetron as one of the communication media, can play the role as an interesting channel for preaching in the form of delivery of moral messages in the show. This research takes the object of PATRIOT Serial Drama, this research aimd to analyze the moral message in PATRIOT drama series in NET. The method used in this research was qualitative with a semiotic approach from Roland Barthes. The techniques to data collection used documentation, then observed the scenes and analyzed by semiotics analysis of Roland Barthes. The result of this research is there are moral values in general, there is a human relation with himself, that is discipline. The human relationship with his God that is to pray. And human relationships with the social environment that is, treat people well, helping each other, as a mediate a problem, sharing the kindness, not to kill, serve the parents, and protecting the weak people. And the Islamic moral message is Taqwa, it is shown in the praying scene. Taawun, it is shown in scenes of help, weak people protecting scenes, and sharing the kindness scenes. Birul Walidain shown in the dutiful to parents scene. Amar Maruf Nahi Munkar shown in the scene of as a mediate of a problem, not to killing each other, and discipline scenes.
