Abstract

Background: Response time is an indicator of the quality of hospital services. IGD as the first installation that accepts patients must have competent standards to achieve fast response time and good service quality. Research Objectives: The aims of this study to find out the description of the response time of nurses in patients with triage P2 in the emergency room of PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital. Methodology: This study uses descriptive research methods. The sample of this study was 45 patients with triage P2 taken using the total sampling method. Data retrieval is done using observation sheets and watches / stopwatches. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis. Results: The results of the study showed that the response time of nurses in the emergency room at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital was mostly fast. Conclusion: Nurse response time in patients with triage P2 in the emergency room of PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital in most fast categories.
