Abstract

Portable Ultrasonic Nebulizer with Fogging Settings is an inhalation therapy device administering drugs directly into the airway through sucking. Various types of drugs such as antibiotics, mucolytic, anti-inflammatory and bronchodilators are often used in inhalation therapy. Inhalation asthma drugs that allow drug delivery directly into the lungs, according to Dr. Suradi, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in Indonesia ranks 5th and from the data of the World Health Organization (WHO) states that in 2010 it is estimated that this disease will rank 4, based on the above problems, this study aims to create and design an ultrasonic nebulizer using piezoelectric, with a battery system, this fogging and ultrasounic arrangement is more practical and simple and does not cause noise.
