Abstract

There are number of entertainment programs that exist in various television stations. One of which is Angkringan program. It is a program that is identical with gerobak angkringan (angkringan food stall) which is the characteristic or the face of Yogyakarta City at night. The purpose of the Angkringan program which is one of the leading programs in TVRI Yogyakarta compared with other programs, is to entertain the public and give a short skill in making decisions on a news or phenomena around us. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. This research is located in TVRI Yogyakarta with the technique of collecting data, that is: interview to producer and head of program section at TVRI Yogyakarta, documentation of photograph of Angkringan program, and available archives of Angkringan program. Creative process is where a creativity is created based on ideas, thoughts, concepts, opportunities, and encouragement from various parties to develop a framework of thinking into a creative process to then be applied to the media to be used. Just like the Angkringan program that underwent through the process of searching actual news which then reported for the truth and become a script or content of the dialogue that still have the atmosphere of entertaining but also educate in taking a decision by finding the truth and not easy to believe with the news mazes out there.
