Abstract

This study aims to determine the motives of the Canadian government to carry out comprehensive economic and trade agreement or often called CETA with the European Union. The data collection method used in this study is literature. Study literature is a method of collecting data from various sources of information and studying books related to this research. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that Canadas motive in CETA with the European Union is to avoid dependence on other countries and to increase Canadian exports to the European Union
