Abstract

This research is entitled Chinas foreign policy on the Rohingya issue in Myanmar in 2014-2017. China is a country in East Asia Region that was able to wriggle out in 1997 Asian Financial Crisis. China grew and developed into a large and successful country in economics so it needed a country that wanted to help China to get a trace of Chinas economic growth so rapid. Therefore, China has experienced an energy crisis so China has to cooperate with other countries which have a lot of energy resources. One of them cooperates with Myanmar. However, Myanmar is correcting its internal problems namely the issues of Rohingya ethnic which seizes the concern of the international community to the United Nations Security Council. Therefore, this study explains the reasons for China opposes the United Nations on the issues of Rohingya ethnic human rights violations in Myanmar. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods. As a result of this study, China has national interests in Myanmar. So, China rejects expressly and did not take any action in order to gain national interests
