Abstract

This research aims to analyze productivity, costs, revenues and income, as well as to analyze the feasibility of farming rice cropping system rice and conventional legowo rows in district Kesesi. Selection research by purposive sampling in Kesesi Sub-district. Sample retrieval technique done with a simple random sampling as many as 30 conventional farmers and 25 farmers legowo. Farmers are distinguished based on the strata land tenure. The results showed that the productivity of rice rows planting system legowo is higher than conventional by 4.284 kg/ha. Total cost conventional growers and legowo rows i.e. Rp. 8.032.261 per 5000m2. Total revenue of legowo rows planting system is higher than conventional i.e Rp. 9.489.029. Net revenue and profits that accrue to rows legowo is greater than conventional i.e. Rp. 5.768.633 and profit of Rp. 1.456.668. Overall feasibility of the parallel system of rice row planting legowo system and conventional are feasible because seen from R/C of 1.18 to row planting legowo system and 1.09 to conventional. The value of capital productivity of farming system planting rows legowo is 69,88%, labor productivity amounted to Rp. 103.024/HKO and productivity of land i.e. Rp. 849/m2/season. Conventional cropping systems of farming productivity seen from 36,67% of capital productivity, labor productivity amounted to Rp. 73.195/HKO and productivity of land i.e. Rp. 726/m2/season. Based on the value of R/C and productivity is obtained then farming planting rows legowo more likely to laboured than conventional farming.
