Abstract

The purpose of this study is measure how much the willingness to pay (WTP) of domestic visitors to Ratu Boko Temple in maintaining cultural heritage and to find out how much factors can influence willingness to pay (WTP), by using the Contigent Valuation Method approach (CVM). This study is done in Sleman Regency, Province Yogyakarta Special Region. This study uses primary data with the interview method. Sample used in this study is 96 respondents. The analysis of this study is multiple linear regression. The factors which affect the willingness to pay for domestic visitors to Ratu Boko Temple, Sleman Regency are education, age, income, distance of residence, and facilities. Based on the analysis, the value of the average willingness to pay (WTP) per person for the maintenance of the cultural heritage of Ratu Boko Temple is Rp18,906.00 which is rounded up to Rp19,000.00 which is obtained through an auction game or also called a bidding game.
