Abstract

. This research aims to find out the income of shallot farmers in the dry season and rainy season, and to find out the feasibility of red onion farming in the dry season and rainy season. This research was conducted in Sangia Village, Sape District, Bima Regency. This sresearch uses primary data from a survey of 30 dry season shallot respondents and 5 rainy season shallot respondents. The data were analyzed using cost, income, profit analysis as well as R/C ratio analysis, capital, land and labor productivity. The results showed that the dry season onion farming income was IDR 16,419,972 rainy season farming income of IDR 4,816,659, the profit obtained by the dry season farmers was IDR 11,257,730 and the rainy season farmers were -IDR 239,514. Judging from the feasibility of dry season shallot farming is more feasible than rainy season farming musim
