Abstract

There are 17 economic sectors in Tulang Bawang Regency, namely; 1) Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. 2) Mining and quarrying. 3) Processing industry. 4) Procurement of electricity and gas. 5) Water supply, sewage treatment, sewage, and recycling. 6) Construction. 7) Wholesale and retail trade; car and motorcycle repair. 8) Transportation and warehousing. 9) Provision of Accommodation and Food and Drink. 10) Information and Communication. 11) Financial Services and Insurance. 12) Real estate. 13) Company Services. 14) Administration of Government, Defense and Mandatory Social Security. 15) Education Services. 16) Health Services and Social Activities. 17) Other Services. This study aims to analyze the leading sectors and potential sectors in increasing regional economic growth. This study uses secondary data that are collected from the central bureau of statistics. The analysis method that is used in this study is the location quotient, analysis shift-share and Typology klassen. The results of the study using the Klassen Typology analysis : developed and rapidly growing sector, there were two sectors, namely: the agricultural sector, forestry, fisheries, and the manufacturing industry sector. The results of the study using Location Quotient Analysis : there were two business sectors which were the Basis sector, namely: The Agriculture, Forestry, Fishery and Manufacturing Industry sectors. The results of the study using the Shift-Share analysis is 16 business sectors experienced an increase and 1 fluctuating business sector, namely the financial services and insurance sectors, while the total provincial / national growth (a combination of 17 business sectors) fluctuated the results.
