Abstract

The soundness of a bank is the result of a qualitative assessment of various aspects
that affect the integrity of performance of the bank. The purpose of this study was to
determine the helath level of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk in 2020 using the
CAMELS & RGEC method. This resersc method uses quantitative methods. The type of
data used is secondary data from the financial statements of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia
Tbk. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis
The results of the assessment of the health level of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk
show that the bank is in a healthy condition. The CAMELS method actually provides an
effective picture of the level of health, but does not provide a conclusion towards an
assessment. Calculaton result of CAMELSS methodesow a net credit value of 83.41
which in Ban Indonesia regulation can be emphasizes the importance of quality
management, it is known in the interviewresult that the managemen is going wll, so the
results of the RGEC condition of the bank are in a health condition.
