Abstract
Along with the development of the times, technology have significant impact in human life. This short of developing era is well known as 4.0 era. It is an era when digital media or application can influence some aspects of human life including education. This study aims to explore what the teachers like from applying Canva in their teaching and learning process and to explore the way, the teachers apply Canva in their teaching and learning process. It was conducted at a private university in Yogyakarta involving three teachers. This research employed qualitative method and used descriptive qualitative as the research design to find out the findings. In collecting the data, the researcher used in depth interview. This research had two findings. The first finding was regarding to the things that the teachers like using Canva application. They were Canva application have many templates and picture or images that can be used to make the slide or the work more attractive, and then Canva application can reduce learning effort by the teacher cause Canva application have a feature that can display the material or the other things. The second finding was about in what way Canva application used by the teacher. They were the teacher can use the Canva application to be a tool to present the material in front of a classroom. Teachers also can use Canva application as an alternative activity during the teaching and learning process. The last things, teachers can use Canva to assign the assignment in one course.
