Abstract

The high energy demand in Indonesia causes the economic potential to also increase so that it
can have an impact on the capital structure of energy companies in Indonesia. This research
aims to determinant effect for structure active, company size, profitability and asset growth on
capital structure energy manufacture companies listed in IDX period 2019-2020. This study
uses purposive sampling method, with criteria 54 companies that have completed financial
data and are listed on the IDX period 2019-2020. The data analysis used is descriptive analytic,
multiple regression, classical assumption test and hypothesis test (T Test and F Test). The
result in this study, The F Test result F value is. Structure active, companies size, profitability
and asset growth are not simultaneously effect on the capital structure. T Test result is,
Structure active have not effect to capital structure,size companies have not effect to capital
structure, Profitability have negative and significant effect to capital structure and Asset
Growth have not effect to capital structure. Sugesstion for this research is for further research
it is better to addthe number of samples and a longer research
