Abstract

A fire is a disaster or failure caused by the flames it can occur anytime and
anywhere. There are several factors that cause fires, one of which is natural and
non-natural factors. There are many kinds of news circulating about fires in
housing and public facilities such as hotels are still spread in the media. It was
means that there are still many people ignored the importance of safety over the
risk of fire. Therefore, this research is carried out with the goal to reduce the risk
of fire disaster in the building of Dwi Warna Hotel Yogyakarta. This research was
to examining the readiness of tread completeness, rescue facilities, active
protection systems, and passive protection systems available in the Dwi Warna
Hotel Yogyakarta.
This study is guided by Regulations of Pd - T - 11 - 2005 - C that concern on
Building Fire Safety Checks. This research uses analytical, descriptive, quantitative
methods by way of direct surveys on the review building to obtain research data.
Results of this research are the Reliability Value of Building Safety System
(NKSKB) for each component, the sub value of the site completeness component is
19.58%, the value of sub KSKB components of rescue facilities is 15.48%, the value
of sub KSKB components of active protection facilities is 13.38%, and the value of
sub KSKB components of passive protection facilities is 16.64%. The overall value
of the building's NKSKB is 66.07%or can be categorized as Sufficient. Based on the
results of Dwi Warna Hotel Yogyakarta research.
