Abstract

This study aims to find out the attitude of farmers and the relationship of factors
related to farmers' attitudes towards the application of GAP in coffee plants in
Pejawaran District of Banjarnegara Regency. The research location is in
Pejawaran Subdistrict, Pejawaran district (purposive sampling) which is on the
basis that there is an extension program related to the implementation of Good
Agriculture Practices which is a program of the Central Java Agriculture Office.
The determination of respondents was conducted by census, namely as many as 46
farmers who were members of the Srandil and Pegundungan farming groups. The
analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis, scoring technique, and
spearman rank correlation analysis. The results showed (1) Farmers' attitudes
towards the application of Good Agriculture Practices can be known from cognitive
attitudes with a score of 47.33 included in the category of very know, affective
attitudes resulted in a score of 42.13 included in the agree category, and conative
attitudes with a score of 37.37 included in the interested category. (2) Factors that
have a strong relationship and potif direction with the attitude of farmers are
factors in the role of farmers' groups
