Abstract

This research was conducted in Widodomartani Village, Ngemplak District,
Sleman Regency. This study aims to determine the costs, income, revenues and
profits of cayenne pepper farming in Widodomartani Village, Ngemplak District,
Sleman Regency and determine the feasibility of cayenne pepper farming in
Widodomartani Village, Ngemplak District, Sleman Regency. Sampling using
the Simple Random Sampling method with 45 farmers as respondents. The
results of the analysis show that the costs incurred by farmers for cayenne
pepper farming are Rp. 5.831.042, the income obtained by farmers from cayenne
pepper farming is -Rp. 4,464,608, the income earned by farmers from cayenne
pepper farming is Rp. 54.864, the profits obtained by farmers from farming
cayenne pepper as much as -Rp 1.366.434. R/C Ratio is less than 1 which is
0,77, capital productivity is -0.3, labor productivity is -Rp 44.997. This means
that cayenne pepper farming is said to be unfit for cultivation
