Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the profitability of BPRS
Madina Mandiri Sejahtera from 2011–2020. Profitability is a specific measure of the
appearance of a bank. In this study, ROA is used as the dependent variable and the
independent variables are NPF, CAR, FDR and BOPO. The analytical method used in
this study is the Error Correction Model (ECM). Based on the research that has been
done, it can be concluded that the NPF variable has a negative and insignificant effect
on the level of profitability (ROA) in the long term and in the short term the NPF
variable has a significant negative effect on profitability (ROA), the CAR variable has
a positive and significant effect on the level of profitability. (ROA) in the long and short
term, the FDR variable has a positive and insignificant effect on the level of
profitability (ROA) and the BOPO variable has a negative and significant effect on
profitability (ROA).
