Abstract

Reading can be one of the language skills that is not easy to leran. Based n the researchs experience, many students cannot comprehend reading text easily, and find difficulties in understanding the writers message due to their limited vocabulary. They also have some difficulties in recognizing the ways in which texts are organized and information is presented. To solve the problem in reading, there are many techniques that can be used : one of the techniques is mind mapping. Mind mapping technique can help the students to handle their porblem in reading. Its then interesting to investigate the students perception on the use of the mind mapping technique is reading.
