Abstract

When a country has some problems both economically and religiously , the existence of a good education is being questioned. The teachers task in conducting a good teaching and learning should be enhanced . The there is serious concern on sustainability of teachers professional develompemnt to promote excellent teaching and learning process. The teachers then , are required to have four competences which are in line with the Law Number 14, 2005. The research shows that the English teachers profile based on four competence still need to enhanced.
