Abstract

This study aimed to obtain empirical evidence about the differences in the financial performance and soundness before and after the spin-off policy on Sharia Bank Jabar Banten. The research is focused to the financial statements of the Bank Jabar Banten Sharia by taking quarterly report data taken from December 2007 to March 2010 for pre-spin off and September 2010 to December 2012 for after spin off. The data analysis was performed using paired samples t-test.
The results show that there is no difference in financial performance at the time before and after the spin-off. There is a level of financial health at the time before and after the spin-off at Bank Jabar Banten Sharia.
