Abstract
In a building also can’t be separated from a disaster that can occur at any time
for example is a fire. Fire in a building is a disaster that occurs when a fire
cannot be controlled, so that it can cause losses for many parties for example the
occupants of the building. Many factors can cause a fire process, one of which is
human error. From the fire incident can cause smoke, heat, flame and poison gas.
Fire can be caused by human negligence, stoves, wood, electrical short circuit
and other flammable properties. This study aims to determine the Reliability
Value of Building Safety Systems from fire hazards. In addition, it is also to find
out whether the buildings to be studied can be used as a reference for a fire
protection system in commercial buildings. This research method uses direct
observation to the field with components to be assessed namely site completeness,
rescue facilities, active protection systems and passive protection systems that
refer to the Building Safety System Inspection Guidelines for Buildings (Pd-T-11-
C). The results obtained by the Building Safety System Reliability Value of
61.80%, based on the results of the reliability assessment of the building safety
system of The Arizon Hotel included in the ENOUGH category "C".
